I measured my feet to see which size I would need and according to the sizing I would have been fine with a size 38 (also my usual shoe size in EUR sizing) but when I put them on they were extremely tight around my toes (especially the big toe). so much so that, when walking, my toes would be smushed together.

Even though they are on the small side, I do like them and would recommend them. Just size up.
