Red coral, also known as "moonga" or "precious coral," is a gemstone derived from the skeletons of marine animals called coral polyps. It is primarily found in the Mediterranean Sea, especially in the coastal areas of Italy, Greece, and Tunisia. Red coral is also found in other regions, such as the waters of Japan, Taiwan, and the Canary Islands.
